Welcome Church is a Christian Church based in the heart of Woking, UK. The church was started over 140 years ago, in 1879, as Woking Baptist Church, and has been faithfully serving the community ever since.
During all those years the church has been working together to introduce people to Jesus and to help them grow in their faith. You can watch some of the stories of people whose lives have been transformed by watching our Welcome Stories here.

The name change to Welcome Church was made in 2018, as part of a change of culture, vision and strategy for the church and to help connect better with both our town and the wider world.
The driving passion behind our church is to see:

We meet on Sunday mornings at 9am and 11am in our building on the junction of Goldsworth Road and Church Street West, which we opened in January 2020. You are welcome to join us, just come as you are. We have a fantastic youth work and children’s work and a whole range of exciting ministries.
